The topic of freedom has been on my mind for a while now. During my later teenage years I had more freedom than I knew what to do with. Now there are days when it sometimes feels like my time really isn’t my own. Honestly I have nothing to complain about in my life, I’mContinue reading “Finding Time for Yourself”
Recently I installed Timehop on my phone and it’s been showing me some awesome old photos. It got me thinking and I ended up going through some old pictures tonight. I found some really cute old ones of the kids and thought I’d share some.
Each year the Valley library system here puts on a summer reading club. It is an awesome idea to keep kids reading and gives them some great incentive to do it as well. You sign up for the program and you are given a sheet with different tasks to complete over the summer. As youContinue reading “Library Summer Reading Club”
Yesterday Jen and the kids all gave me a wonderful Father’s Day. They helped make me some French toast for breakfast with lovely raspberries and blueberries on top. This morning Alexandria came down stairs and asked if Ella was supposed to stillbe in bed. Up the stairs I went to get getup and ready for school. I rubbed her back and said Mom ready woke you up once it’s time to get up. She instantly sat up, blinked her eyes trying to getContinue reading “Time to get up”
